Each Magic & Melanin trip has been unique, empowering and so unforgettable that we decided to document our journeys of collective expression and awakening through our digital MM Mag. Our issues include an ode to one or more of the experiences that marked MM travelers during or after our trips. MM Mag is home to various works of stunning photography, poetry, and all forms of artistry and self-expression inspired by the Motherland and created by black people around the world.
While Magic & Melanin is always a proponent for humans of the diaspora returning home by traveling to West Africa, we also know it's not always an immediate possibility. That's why we hope you'll still immerse yourself in the rich and irreplaceable culture of your ancestors through MM Mag. Whether you're a reader or a contributor, the magic and melanin that comes from being a descent of Africa deserves to be honored and celebrated.
